Hi Angie! What a beautiful fireplace surround! Love the colors of the tiles and the design you used! So true about making sure you have enough tiles to complete the mosaics. Always wise to buy a couple extra tiles because even though you can reorder, lot might vary in color.

You are right about measuring! You even need to calculate your grout lines. Very nice detail and symmetry.
